The HoldFast Epoxy Stick has superior bonding ability that allows you to create steps, caves, cliffs, and walls for aquarium animals to enjoy. Professional Aquaculture Facilities use HoldFast Epoxy to mount oddly shaped or uneven corals to frag plugs, corals to rocks, walls or other substrates. Our recommendations for use:

We recommend to cut a small strip from the stick using a normal pair of scissors. Cut only what you need to use. Knead it thoroughly until the color runs uniform white. Once you have this done you should apply glue to the object that needs mounting, then push the epoxy onto the glue.  Your object is ready for mounting to the aquarium wall, substrate or to a coral frag plug or rock. Simply put glue on the other side of the epoxy and squish the object down onto the surface where you want it positioned. You should do this as one smooth motion and you should hold it medium firmly without damaging the coral for about 10 seconds, Do not move during this time. After 10 seconds you may release the object. It should be now be bound nicely to the rock.

A rough or textured surface will always work best like rocks and frag plugs, smooth surfaces like glass will present issues unless they are encrusted with coralline or other aquarium detritus.
