When a customer or friend receives one of your frags, they don't have to cut the stem, they can simply twist off the Stem and Weight Plate and easily mount the Coral Grow Mount to any rock in their aquarium. Or if the coral sits around for a while without being sold and grows to the edge of the mount, you can twist that grow mount off and twist it on to a larger Coral Expander for continued grow-out and fragging at a later time. You don't have to cut or glue to expand the growing surface which is functionality you will not find any where else on the market. Not only that, you'll even get to save the Lock Plug Stem & Weight Plate for use on the next frag. Talk about AWESOME!

Each Pack of 3/4" Acro Locking Frag Plugs includes the Lock Plug Stem. Our 3/4" Acro Lock Plugs do not use a separated weight plate like our other 1" & 3/4" Lock Plugs do. The logic here is that there is no reason for the top mount to be removeable for cutting  as Acropora's and Stick Corals are cut from their branches. For these Acro plugs we integrated the weight plate directly into the grow mount which allowed us to make a perfect 3mm recessed cradle for easier gluing of Acropora and other Stick-Type Corals without having to use epoxy.
